ANA Chiikawa Jet: How to Find Its Flights, Routes & Goods
Tokyo Mate
The ANA Chiikawa Jet is a specially painted Boeing 767-300 (registration JA609A) that entered service on Japanese domestic routes on October 19, 2026.
Its route isn't fixed, and which flights it operates isn't confirmed until the day itself. From October 25, the candidates are 20 routes to and from Haneda, Itami, Nagoya and Fukuoka. For anyone who wants to fly on the Chiikawa plane, here's how to check JA609A's flight history and where to buy the goods.

ANA Chiikawa Jet: the aircraft and first flight
The ANA Chiikawa Jet is a special-livery aircraft ANA created in collaboration with the popular character Chiikawa.
The left side shows Chiikawa, Hachiware, Shisa and Kurimanju with spring-to-summer motifs, and the right side shows Usagi, Rakko, Momonga and Furuhonya with autumn-to-winter motifs. Together, the two sides feature 8 characters.

ANA Chiikawa Jet routes and candidate flights
The ANA Chiikawa Jet isn't assigned to a fixed route. ANA says it doesn't confirm the actual flights until the day itself, and instead publishes a list of routes the plane may fly.
From October 25, there are 20 candidate routes in total, including 15 to and from Haneda.
October 25 is when ANA's winter schedule starts. The candidate routes grow from 10 to 20, but no additional Chiikawa Jet is being added. The only special-livery aircraft officially announced so far is JA609A.
| Airport | Candidate routes (from Oct 25) |
|---|---|
| Haneda | New Chitose, Itami, Fukuoka, Naha, Matsuyama, Nagasaki, Hakodate, Yonago, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi Ube, Kochi, Kagoshima, Ishigaki |
| Itami | New Chitose, Naha |
| Nagoya | New Chitose, Naha |
| Fukuoka | New Chitose |

⚠️ If the flight plan changes because of bad weather or aircraft maintenance, the plane may fly a route that isn't on the list.
Booking an ANA ticket on a candidate route doesn't guarantee you'll fly on the Chiikawa Jet. You need to check whether the aircraft assigned to your flight is JA609A.
How to check the ANA Chiikawa Jet’s flight history
You can see the ANA Chiikawa Jet's actual flight history by searching its registration, JA609A, on FlightAware or Flightradar24. Both show the flight numbers, departure and arrival airports and flight times by date.
➡️ JA609A flight history (FlightAware)
➡️ JA609A flight history (Flightradar24)
While it's flying, you can also see where the plane is. Both sites showed its flight history up to the present, though, and no future scheduled flights.

⚠️ You can't book a ticket on ANA's official booking site by choosing registration JA609A.
The Chiikawa Jet's actual flights aren't confirmed or announced until the day itself, so even if you book a candidate route in advance, you're not guaranteed to fly on it.
✅ Flight history for the first 4 days
JA609A's actual flight history shows it flew the same routes on October 19 and 20, then different flights from the 21st.
| Date (flights) | Routes actually flown |
|---|---|
| Oct 19 (6 flights) | Haneda → Nagasaki → Haneda → Hiroshima → Haneda → Hiroshima → Haneda |
| Oct 20 (6 flights) | Haneda → Nagasaki → Haneda → Hiroshima → Haneda → Hiroshima → Haneda |
| Oct 21 (4 flights) | Haneda → Fukuoka → Haneda → Nagasaki → Haneda |
| Oct 22 (5 flights) | Haneda → Nagasaki → Haneda → Itami → Sapporo → Nagoya |
From October 19 to 21, the last flight of the day landed at Haneda, but on the 22nd the plane finished at Nagoya's Chubu Centrair International Airport. Because the routes change like this, it's hard to predict from past records which flight numbers the Chiikawa Jet will fly next.
※ This is JA609A's flight history from FlightAware and Flightradar24, not a future schedule.

FAQ: booking, international flights and buying goods
Q. Can I book a specific ANA Chiikawa Jet flight?
A. No. ANA doesn't confirm the Chiikawa Jet's actual flights until the day itself. You can check its flight history by registration JA609A, but you can't pick that aircraft when booking on ANA's site. Even on the same flight number, the aircraft can change before departure.
Q. Can I fly it on an international flight to Japan?
A. No. The Chiikawa Jet currently flies regular Japanese domestic flights. International routes aren't among the official candidate routes.
Q. Can I buy ANA Chiikawa goods without flying?
A. Yes. The ANA FESTA collaboration store on basement 1 of Haneda Airport Terminal 2 is before security, so you can visit without a ticket. From October 23 to 25, though, only people with a reservation can enter. Chiikawa Land sells the goods too, and stock and purchase limits may differ by store.
Because the ANA Chiikawa Jet's flights aren't fixed, flying on it on the day you want isn't easy. If you're planning a domestic trip in Japan, check JA609A's flight history.
Even without flying, you can buy the Chiikawa collaboration goods at the ANA FESTA stores at Haneda, New Chitose, Fukuoka and Naha airports.
