Ginza Tenryu Honten: Getting There
The closest station to Ginza Tenryu Honten is Ginza-itchome on the Yurakucho Line. Ginza Station exit A13 and Yurakucho Station are both under a 10 minute walk as well.
Come out of exit 5 and the Puzzle Ginza building is a minute away. Ginza Tenryu Honten is on the 4th floor.

You line up as soon as you step off the elevator. At 3:30pm on a Sunday there were five groups ahead of me and I waited 15 minutes. The kitchen doesn't close between services, so come outside mealtimes and you'll get in faster.
Ginza Tenryu Honten: The Menu
Ginza Tenryu centers on Beijing cuisine and runs from traditional Chinese dishes to newer creations. The signature is the grilled gyoza. Takeout is available. The menu has photos and English alongside, so ordering isn't hard.

Ginza Tenryu Honten: The Food
Start with a Suntory draft, which goes with gyoza. The glass has the restaurant's dragon on it and it looks good. (820 yen)

The grilled gyoza, the dish they're known for. Eight to a plate for 1,330 yen. They're genuinely big, with a crisp, chewy skin and a moist filling. The flavor runs deep.

I'd been wanting sweet and sour pork for days, so I ordered that too. It isn't long like the Korean version. It's thick like tonkatsu and cut into cubes. The texture is moist rather than crisp. Compared to how much gyoza you get for the money, the portion is small. (1,790 yen)

Ginza Tenryu: Other Branches
