Kiddy Land Harajuku sells character goods from basement 1 up to the 4th floor, and it's open 11:00-20:00. The whole 1st floor is Chiikawa Land Harajuku.

Kiddy Land Harajuku hours and how to get there

Kiddy Land Harajuku is a character goods store on Omotesando Avenue. It has 5 floors in total, from basement 1 to the 4th floor, and entry is free.

Chiikawa Land on the 1st floor keeps the same hours as Kiddy Land.

From Meiji-Jingumae Station, walk toward Omotesando Station and you'll find Kiddy Land on the main street.

Kiddy Land Harajuku floor guide

At Kiddy Land Harajuku, each floor carries different characters.

The 1st floor is Chiikawa Land, and basement 1 is the Snoopy Town Shop. Sanrio and Sumikko Gurashi goods are on the 4th floor, Kirby and Pokémon on the 3rd, and Ghibli and Disney on the 2nd.

Chiikawa Land Harajuku entry reservations

Chiikawa Land Harajuku is the official Chiikawa goods shop that takes up the entire 1st floor of Kiddy Land. It opened on August 7, 2021, and on October 10, 2025, it expanded to fill the whole 1st floor.

✅ How to check whether you need an entry reservation

You can usually walk into Chiikawa Land Harajuku without a reservation. On new-release days or days when crowds are expected, though, part of the shop may switch to reservations or limit entry.

Chiikawa Land's official X account announces which dates need a reservation and which areas it covers. When LINE reservations are used, you apply either by lottery or first come, first served.

📌 On Friday, October 23, 2026, LINE entry reservations apply from 11:00 to 14:00 to part of the sales area, for the release of ANA x Chiikawa collaboration goods. The rest of the shop doesn't need a reservation.

Add the official LINE account "Chiikawa · Nagano Characters Ticket" (ちいかわ・ナガノキャラクターズチケット) as a friend, then during the booking period choose the Harajuku store and the entry time you want.

⚠️ An entry reservation doesn't guarantee you can buy anything or get the purchase gift. Popular items can sell out. Entry tickets for October 23 become invalid 30 minutes after their time slot starts.

✅ Purchase limits and sold-out items

Chiikawa Land sets purchase limits per item, such as "1 of each per transaction." The limits can vary by product and release date.

You can call the shop to ask about stock for a particular item. The Harajuku store shares Kiddy Land's number, 03-3409-3431, but stock changes all the time.

✅ Chiikawa Baby and plush prices

Chiikawa Land Harajuku sells plush toys of Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi and other characters. Below are the prices of the main items I saw in the shop, including Chiikawa Baby, Chokotto Posing and the Tokyo souvenir plush.

Besides plush toys, the shop sells everyday items with Chiikawa characters on them, such as suitcases, towels and fluffy bed socks.

✅ Photo spot and commemorative stamp

Chiikawa Land Harajuku has a photo spot with figures of Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi, plus a Harajuku store commemorative stamp. The stamp is next to the 1st-floor register and says "CHIIKAWA LAND HARAJUKU."

✅ October 2026 new releases and purchase gift

New items went on sale at Chiikawa Land on October 16, and more are due on October 23. Some items are also sold on the online Chiikawa Market.

From October 9, you get 1 "たべのみ処 くりまんじゅう" (Kurimanju's eatery) sticker per transaction when you buy Chiikawa goods. The gift ends when stock runs out.

Q. Do I need a reservation to enter Chiikawa Land Harajuku?

A. Not always. You can usually walk in without one, but on new-release days or busy days, entry may be limited for the whole shop or part of it. Chiikawa Land's official X account announces the dates that need a LINE reservation.

Q. If I have an entry reservation, can I buy the items I want?

A. No. An entry reservation doesn't guarantee a purchase or the purchase gift. Popular items can sell out, and each item has a purchase limit.

Q. Can I shop tax-free at Kiddy Land Harajuku?

A. Yes. Kiddy Land Harajuku is a tax-free store. You pay separately on each floor, and purchases from different floors aren't added together toward the tax-free minimum. If you're eligible, spend 5,000 yen or more (before tax) on one floor and show your original passport to get the tax-free procedure.

From November 1, 2026, you pay the consumption tax when you buy and get it refunded after customs checks your goods when you leave Japan.
