MoN Takanawa is an interactive cultural museum at Takanawa Gateway City that opened on March 28, 2026. It combines tradition and modern technology through exhibitions, performances, workshops, and other programs.

The name "MoN" carries two meanings. "門" (gate), connecting to the place name Takanawa Gateway, and "問" (question), which looks toward the future. It aims to be a gate where you encounter unknown worlds and new sides of yourself, as well as a space that poses questions to society.

The MoN Takanawa rooftop and 6F MoN Garden feature several outdoor spaces including the Ashiyu Terrace, Tsukimi Terrace, Hanami Terrace, and MoN Farm. They offer a different kind of relaxation from the exhibition areas. These spaces are separated from the restaurant and shopping routes, so they tend to be relatively uncrowded.

🌿 Hanami Terrace [RF]
In spring, seven varieties of cherry blossoms with different blooming seasons fill the rooftop one after another, making it a great spot for hanami.
🌿 MoN Farm [RF]
A rooftop garden growing seasonal flowers, fruit trees, and vegetables, centered around native Japanese plant species. Herbs and fruits grown here are planned to be used in the restaurant menus going forward.
🌿 MoN Shrine (門神社) [RF]
A sacred space enshrining the deities of Takanawa Shrine and Mita Hachiman Shrine, with the purpose of protecting Takanawa Gateway City.
