Here are the ATM locations at Narita Airport, organized by Terminal 1, 2, and 3. Aeon Bank is in Terminals 1 and 3, and Seven Bank is in all three terminals. This covers the ATMs you can use after you arrive and what to check before you withdraw.
Narita Airport Terminal 1 ATM Locations
Terminal 1 has both Aeon Bank and Seven Bank ATMs. The Aeon Bank ATMs are at two spots on the 1st floor of the general area.

Narita Airport Terminal 2 ATM Locations
Terminal 2 has Seven Bank ATMs, but no Aeon Bank ATM.

If you need an Aeon Bank ATM, you have to move to Terminal 1 or Terminal 3.
From Terminal 2, the closest one is Terminal 3. The free inter-terminal shuttle bus from stop 1 on the 1st floor takes about 6 minutes, and you can also walk there along the connecting path. Note that the Terminal 3 building has no railway station. If you’re taking a train, you’ll have to come back to Airport Terminal 2 Station in Terminal 2 after withdrawing.
Terminal 1 is about 10 minutes away by free inter-terminal shuttle bus. Take the Terminal 1 bus from stop 8 or 18 on the 1st floor of Terminal 2.

Narita Airport Terminal 3 ATM Locations
The Aeon Bank and Seven Bank ATMs in Terminal 3 are both on the 2nd floor of the general area and operate 24 hours.

Terminal 3 has no railway station of its own. If you’re taking a train, you’ll need to use the connecting path or the free inter-terminal shuttle bus to get to Airport Terminal 2 Station in Terminal 2.

How to Withdraw at Aeon Bank and Seven Bank ATMs
The steps for withdrawing with an overseas card are slightly different at Aeon Bank and Seven Bank.

- ① Select START on the opening screen
- ② Select International Cards
- ③ Select your language
- ④ Press Confirm and follow the on-screen instructions

- ① Insert your card
- ② Select your language
- ③ Select Withdrawal
- ④ Select the account to withdraw from
- ⑤ Enter your PIN
- ⑥ Select the amount of yen to withdraw
- ⑦ When the currency selection screen appears, choose to proceed without converting now
⚠️ Watch out for DCC (dynamic currency conversion)
When the currency selection screen appears at a Seven Bank ATM, choose the option to proceed without converting now, which bills you in yen (JPY). If you choose to proceed with conversion applied, DCC is applied and the amount is fixed at the exchange rate offered by the ATM operator, which can add extra cost.
⚠️ Per-transaction withdrawal limits
- Seven Bank: up to 100,000 yen
- Aeon Bank: up to 50,000 yen
However, at Seven Bank the per-transaction limit is capped at 30,000 yen for transactions processed by magnetic stripe, such as cards without an IC chip, and at the Seven Bank ATMs inside the international departure area of Narita Airport.
What to Check When an ATM Won’t Dispense
If the ATM won’t give you cash, check the following in order.
- Check that the ATM supports your card's international brand
- Check that you entered your card PIN correctly
- Check that overseas ATM withdrawals are enabled in your card issuer's app
- Check your foreign currency balance and the balance of the linked account
- Check your card's per-transaction and daily withdrawal limits
- If you get a limit-exceeded message, lower the amount and try again
- If it still won't dispense, try a different ATM
📌 If it asks for a 6-digit PIN
Some overseas ATMs may ask for a 6-digit card PIN. In that case, enter it according to the official guidance for the card you’re using.
If you repeatedly enter other number combinations that aren’t in the official guidance, your card may be restricted, so contact your card issuer if it keeps getting declined.
How Much Cash Should You Withdraw at Narita Airport?
How much cash you need depends on the length of your trip, and also on whether you plan to top up a transit card and use restaurants and small shops that take cash only.
Right after you arrive, it’s easiest to withdraw only what you need for now and take out more during your trip at an ATM that works with your card.
