Keisei Access Express from Narita: Timetable, Fares & Stops
Tokyo Mate
The Keisei Access Express from Narita Airport is a train you can ride with Suica or PASMO, with no separate limited express ticket. Depending on its destination it runs toward Keisei-Ueno or toward Oshiage and the Toei Asakusa Line. Trains running through onto the Asakusa Line pass Asakusa, Nihombashi and Shimbashi, and some continue to Haneda Airport without a transfer.

What Is the Access Express?
There are five main rail options from Narita Airport into central Tokyo, and the right one depends on where you're going.
| Train | Main Destinations / Features |
|---|---|
| Keisei Access Express | Oshiage and the Asakusa Line, or toward Keisei-Ueno; no limited express ticket |
| Keisei Main Line trains | Run via Keisei-Funabashi and usually take longer than the Access Express |
| Keisei Skyliner | To Nippori and Keisei-Ueno; airport express with all seats reserved |
| Narita Express (N'EX) | To Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Yokohama; airport express with all seats reserved |
| JR Sobu Line Rapid | To Kinshicho and Tokyo Station; JR train with no limited express ticket |
The Access Express is a Keisei Electric Railway train that starts at Narita Airport. Depending on its destination, it either heads to Nippori and Keisei-Ueno, or continues from Oshiage onto the Toei Asakusa Line toward Asakusa, Nihombashi and Shimbashi.

You don't need a limited express ticket or a seat reservation, and you can ride with an IC card such as Suica or PASMO.

Access Express vs Skyliner
The biggest difference between the Access Express and the Skyliner is whether you need a separate limited express ticket and a seat reservation.
For the Access Express, a regular ticket or an IC card is enough. The Skyliner has reserved seats only, so you have to buy a Skyliner ticket before boarding.
| Item | Access Express | Skyliner |
|---|---|---|
| Separate ticket | ❌ Not needed | ⭕️ Skyliner ticket required |
| Seat reservation | ❌ Not needed | ⭕️ All seats reserved |
| Main destinations | Oshiage and Asakusa, or Keisei-Ueno | Nippori and Keisei-Ueno |
| Direct to Asakusa | ⭕️ Some trains | ❌ No |
| Direct to Haneda Airport | ⭕️ Some trains | ❌ No |
Every Skyliner seat is reserved, and your Skyliner ticket covers a specific train and seat.
The Skyliner is a fast airport express to Nippori and Keisei-Ueno, but it doesn't stop at Asakusa. If you're going to Asakusa, you'll need to change to another train or other transport on the way.

Access Express Stops and Destinations
From Narita Airport, every Access Express runs the same route as far as Aoto. After that it splits: some trains go to Nippori and Keisei-Ueno, and others run through from Oshiage onto the Toei Asakusa Line.
① Toward Keisei-Ueno
The Access Express bound for Keisei-Ueno leaves Narita Airport and runs via Aoto and Nippori to Keisei-Ueno.
Narita Airport → Airport Terminal 2 → Narita-Yukawa → Imba Nihon-idai → Chiba New Town Chuo → Shin-Kamagaya → Higashi-Matsudo → Keisei-Takasago → Aoto → Nippori → Keisei-Ueno

② Through service via Oshiage onto the Asakusa Line
Access Express trains for the Asakusa Line also run the same route from Narita Airport to Aoto.
After Aoto they don't head for Nippori and Ueno. They go into Oshiage and run straight onto the Toei Asakusa Line. You don't need to get off or change at Oshiage: you stay on the same train all the way to Asakusa, Nihombashi and Shimbashi.
The main stops on the Asakusa Line through service are:
Narita Airport → (shared section) → Aoto → Oshiage → Asakusa → Higashi-Nihombashi → Nihombashi → Shimbashi → Daimon → Mita → Sengakuji
Trains bound for Haneda Airport continue from Sengakuji onto the Keikyu Line. Here too you don't change trains; the same train takes you to Haneda Airport.

✅Going to Asakusa, Nihombashi or Shimbashi? Check the destination on the departure board
Two trains can both be Access Express and still go to different places.
Trains bound for Keisei-Ueno or Keisei-Takasago don't go onto the Asakusa Line. If you're heading to Asakusa, Nihombashi or Shimbashi, check the destination on the departure board before you board.
| Destination on the board | Asakusa, Nihombashi, Shimbashi | Haneda Airport |
|---|---|---|
| Keisei-Ueno | ❌ | ❌ |
| Keisei-Takasago | ❌ | ❌ |
| Nishi-Magome | ⭕️ | ❌ |
| Haneda Airport | ⭕️ | ⭕️ |
| Misakiguchi | ⭕️ | ❌ |
| Keikyu Kurihama | ⭕️ | ❌ |
Destinations change with the time of day and between weekdays and weekends/holidays, so always check the departure board before you board.

During the day a fair number of trains go to Haneda Airport, but in the evening there are also trains to Keisei-Ueno, Nishi-Magome and Keisei-Takasago. If you're going to Asakusa, Nihombashi or Shimbashi, check the destination as well as the departure time.
✅ Direct to Haneda Airport
Access Express trains from Narita Airport that are bound for Haneda Airport take you all the way there with no transfer.
The train leaves Narita Airport on the Keisei Line, continues onto the Toei Asakusa Line at Oshiage, and joins the Keikyu Line from Sengakuji. You don't get off and change at Oshiage or Sengakuji. Just stay on the train.
The main route is:
Narita Airport → Oshiage → Asakusa → Nihombashi → Shimbashi → Sengakuji → Shinagawa → Keikyu Kamata → Haneda Airport Terminal 3 → Haneda Airport Terminal 1·2
The journey time varies by train. According to Keisei's official information, it takes about 89 minutes from Airport Terminal 2 Station to Haneda Airport. The current adult one-way fare is 1,800 yen, or 1,787 yen with an IC card.
Not every Access Express goes to Haneda Airport, though. Some are bound for Nishi-Magome, Keisei-Ueno or Keisei-Takasago. When you're going to Haneda Airport, check on the departure board that the train is bound for Haneda Airport Terminal 1·2 before you board.

✅ Main fares
The Access Express needs no limited express fee; you pay only the base fares below. They follow Keisei's official fare table as of September 21, 2026. Fares to these destinations are the same from Narita Airport Station (Terminal 1) and from Airport Terminal 2 Station (Terminals 2 and 3).
| To | Ticket | IC card |
|---|---|---|
| Keisei-Ueno / Nippori | 1,240 yen | 1,235 yen |
| Oshiage | 1,170 yen | 1,162 yen |
| Asakusa | 1,290 yen | 1,276 yen |
| Nihombashi | 1,330 yen | 1,318 yen |
| Shimbashi | 1,330 yen | 1,318 yen |
| Shinagawa | 1,520 yen | 1,502 yen |
📌 With a ticket, the Access Express to Keisei-Ueno costs 1,240 yen. That's 1,340 yen less than the Skyliner at its regular price of 2,580 yen. The trade-off is that the Access Express has no reserved seats and takes longer than the Skyliner.
How to Ride the Access Express
Use Narita Airport Station for Terminal 1 and Airport Terminal 2 Station for Terminals 2 and 3. Airport Terminal 2 Station is on the first basement floor of Terminal 2, and Terminal 3 passengers also walk over to Terminal 2 to board there.
Buy a ticket, or tap an IC card such as Suica or PASMO at the ticket gate. The Access Express needs no limited express ticket or seat reservation.
The steps below are for Narita Airport Station at Terminal 1.
① On the Terminal 1 arrivals floor, follow the railway signs down to Narita Airport Station on the first basement floor.

② The first basement floor has separate Keisei and JR ticket gates. For the Access Express, go to the Keisei side, the same as for the Skyliner and the Keisei Main Line. The JR side is for the Narita Express (N'EX) and the JR Sobu Line Rapid.

③ Go through the Keisei ticket gates and head to the Access Express platform. Signs at Terminal 1 show the Access Express at Platform 1, the Keisei Main Line at Platforms 2 and 3, and the Skyliner at Platforms 4 and 5. When you board, check the platform again on the departure board at the station.

④ Go down to the platform shown, check that the departure board says Access Express and shows your destination, then board. If you're going to Asakusa, Nihombashi or Shimbashi, also check that the destination is one that runs through onto the Asakusa Line.

The Access Express needs no limited express ticket or reservation. For Asakusa, Nihombashi and Shimbashi, check that the destination runs through via Oshiage onto the Asakusa Line. Trains bound for Haneda Airport take you there on the same train without a transfer. Destinations change by time of day, so checking the departure board before you board matters most.
