If you are a Pokemon fan visiting Tokyo, this is a place you have to go. Here are Pokemon Center Tokyo DX and Pokemon Cafe Nihonbashi, on the 5th floor of Takashimaya department store, 5 minutes from Tokyo Station. Pokemon Center DX is bigger than the Pokemon Store in Tokyo Station, so you can find a wider range of goods.

Pokemon Center Tokyo DX: How to Get There

• From Tokyo Station, leave by the Yaesu North Exit and it is about a 5 minute walk.
• Nihonbashi Station connects directly to the Pokemon Center through an underground passage.

Get off at Nihonbashi Station and walk straight along the underground passage towards Showa-dori, and it connects to the Takashimaya S.C. East Building. Pokemon Center Tokyo DX is on the 5th floor of the East Building.

Snorlax, Pikachu and Mew greet you at the entrance.

The Pokemon Center is bigger than the Pokemon Store in Tokyo Station, so there are all kinds of plush toys.

Today as well I took careful photos of the cards for my nephew. These are the starter deck cards.

There are all sorts of Pokemon card sleeves too.

This is the notice about buying booster packs. It says one person can buy up to 150 packs a day. One pack is 180 yen, so 150 packs would be 27,000 yen. Do you have to buy that many for a rare card to come out?

Pokemon or Mew? After going back and forth, I decided to stick with one thing and picked the Pokemon cards. I want to pull a card my nephew will love.^^;;

Pokemon Center and Online: Happy Holiday Event

There is an event giving out a gift bag and a gift tag per payment. Since it is given per payment, when you are buying presents for several people it seems better to split the purchases.

Pokemon Cafe Tokyo Nihonbashi: Information and How to Book

The Pokemon Cafe is in the same place as Pokemon Center DX.

You can only use it after booking online. It is always full, but people do cancel at the last minute, so if you keep checking up until the day before your trip you can manage to get a reservation.

The reservation status by time slot is posted at the cafe entrance. If there is an open slot when you visit, you can check on the spot whether you can get in.

An Eevee set menu launched on November 21, Eevee Day. You can get a random sticker with it.

Epilogue

This time one shiny hologram card came out. Is this a good one? Judging by the fact that I do not recognise a single character, it looks like another miss ^^
