Odaiba Summer 2026: Beach, Digital Fireworks & Sale

In summer 2026, Odaiba has a run of events, from an indoor summer festival with digital fireworks to city-center sea bathing and a joint sale across three malls.

Decks Tokyo Beach, Aqua City Odaiba, and DiverCity Tokyo Plaza are all within walking distance, so they're easy to combine into one Odaiba summer route. Here are the dates, prices, and how to get to Odaiba's summer events.

There are free events like the Odaiba sea bathing and the TOKYO Rainbow Summer Festival, while some facilities and programs such as Tokyo Joypolis and the insect experience are paid.

🚃 Getting to Odaiba’s Summer Events

Odaiba Seaside Park and Decks Tokyo Beach are easy to reach from the Yurikamome Odaiba-kaihinkoen Station. For Aqua City use Daiba Station, and for DiverCity you can use Daiba Station and the Rinkai Line Tokyo Teleport Station.

If you're visiting several events together, you can string them into a route from Odaiba Seaside Park through Decks Tokyo Beach and Aqua City over to DiverCity.

Odaiba Plage 2026: City Beach Sea Bathing

This is a city-center sea bathing event held at Odaiba Seaside Park. For a limited time, it recreates in Odaiba the mood of "Paris Plage," where people relax by the Seine in Paris.

Beyond swimming, you can try a large net-pulling experience and water and land attractions for kids. A movie screening is also planned for the evening.

Decks Tokyo Beach Summer Events

Decks Tokyo Beach hosts a variety of summer festivals.

① TOKYO Rainbow Summer Festival: Digital Fireworks

These aren't fireworks that actually launch into the sky. It's a summer festival where you enjoy digital fireworks shown on a large LED display in an indoor LED studio, along with ring toss, shooting games, and motion-linked interactive games.

• Period: July 16 (Thu) to August 31 (Mon)
• Hours: weekdays 11:00-20:00 / weekends and holidays 11:00-21:00

② Blue Lock in JOYPOLIS 3

This is a collaboration between the anime Blue Lock and Tokyo Joypolis. You can find collab attractions, menus, goods, and a special show.

③ Insect Forest: Beetle & Stag Beetle Experience

This is an indoor hands-on event where you can touch and observe rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles. Along with Japanese insects, you can also meet rare overseas species like the Caucasus beetle and the Atlas beetle.

On weekends, holidays, and certain days it runs on an online timed-reservation system, and same-day tickets are only sold on-site when slots are open.

If you're visiting with kids, "Chuggington Land MINI in The Kids" also runs from July 25 to August 23. You can enjoy a large slide, a kids' town, and mini games; some content and The Kids admission are charged separately.

Aqua City Odaiba Summer Events

Aqua City Odaiba is a shopping mall with views of the Statue of Liberty and Rainbow Bridge. In summer 2026 it holds a PAW Patrol collaboration and the joint three-mall sale.

① PAW Patrol Summer Collaboration

Various programs run by period, including toy experiences, an exhibition, a pop-up store, a photo session, and a stamp rally for the anime "PAW Patrol."

This is a joint summer sale held together by three malls: Decks Tokyo Beach, DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, and Aqua City Odaiba.

① Unicorn Gundam Finale

The life-size Unicorn Gundam statue ends its display on August 31, 2026. You can see the last of the Unicorn Gundam, which was a symbol of Odaiba for 8 years and 11 months.
