The life-size Unicorn Gundam that has watched over Odaiba for over eight years will end its display at the end of August 2026. Here is everything in one place before the display ends: the transformation times to check, the Gundam Stamp Rally 2026 that started in June, and the Gundam Base Tokyo numbered tickets and visit tips.

The Display Ends After Nine Years: The Last Summer Before Removal
The life-size Unicorn Gundam in front of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza has stood as a symbol and photo spot representing Odaiba for about 8 years and 11 months, since September 2017.
According to the official announcement, this Unicorn Gundam will end its display at the end of August 2026. Since this is the last chance to see the Unicorn Gundam that has watched over Odaiba for nearly nine years, it is a place worth adding to your itinerary if you are planning a Tokyo trip this summer.

How to Join the Gundam Stamp Rally 2026
Ahead of the end of the Odaiba Unicorn Gundam display, the Gundam Stamp Rally 2026, the official event of TOKYO GUNDAM PROJECT 2026, is currently underway.
This stamp rally is split into Part 1 and Part 2, and the currently available Part 2 period runs from Monday, June 8, 2026, until Sunday, July 12. (Part 1 has ended.)
It is simple to join.
1️⃣ You visit 6 points set up across the Odaiba area and collect stamps to complete a Unicorn Gundam visual. Each stamp station has dedicated sheets available, so you can start from any point.
The stamps are set up at the following 6 places.

3️⃣ The draw takes place at the dedicated machine in front of 7F THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO in the same building. When you scan the code on your lottery ticket at the machine, you can check the result, and if you win, you present the printed receipt to a Gundam Base Tokyo staff member to exchange it for a prize.
There are 4 types of prizes in total.

After seeing the Odaiba Gundam, I recommend a course that also takes in Odaiba Seaside Park right next door.
At Odaiba Seaside Park, you can see the Rainbow Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and the view of Tokyo Bay all in one place, so it is popular as a spot for summer walks and night views. It is within walking distance from DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, where the life-size Unicorn Gundam stands, so the route is not much of a burden.
If you bundle it into a half-day course, enjoying Gundam Base Tokyo, shopping, and a meal inside DiverCity, then seeing the night view at Odaiba Seaside Park in the evening, you can make your Odaiba trip more rewarding.
