Roppongi Hills Summer Festival 2026: Doraemon & Beer

Doraemon has gathered in force at the entrance of Roppongi Hills. At the 2026 Roppongi Hills Summer Festival, you can start at the 66 Plaza Doraemon photo spot and then go around the Oyane Plaza and Mori Garden beer gardens and the TV Asahi Crayon Shin-chan water park in order. Walk about 10 minutes to Tokyo Midtown and you can carry on to the ASHIMIZU foot-soaking and the parasol light-up, making it a good afternoon-to-evening course.

Roppongi Hills Summer Festival 2026: 66 Plaza Doraemon

The trip starts at Roppongi Station. Head toward the Hibiya Line Roppongi Station Exit 1C and take the escalator up to arrive at 66 Plaza, the entrance to Roppongi Hills.

At 66 Plaza, the gateway to Roppongi Hills, countless Doraemon appear again this year to complete an overwhelming group-shot photo zone. Finding your favorite among the Doraemon, each holding a different secret gadget, and taking your best photo is the perfect start to the Roppongi Summer Festival.

In 2026 you can also take part in the Doraemon digital stamp rally.

Scan the QR code on the Doraemon “wanted” posters set up around the venue with your smartphone, and the “#Doraemon on the Run” secret mission begins. Complete the missions at the TV Asahi headquarters venue and 4 spots within Roppongi Hills to finish the puzzle, and you can receive an event-exclusive item.

Roppongi Hills Oyane Plaza Premium Malt’s Beer Garden

Past 66 Plaza, you reach Oyane Plaza, where you can feel a sense of openness in the middle of the city. At Oyane Plaza, the Suntory The Premium Malt’s ROPPONGI SEASIDE beer garden is held.

In a space styled like a summer resort, you can enjoy top-quality, fragrant ale draft beer in an open setting.

Roppongi Hills Mori Garden SUMMER FES Beer Garden

Coming down from Oyane Plaza, you arrive at Mori Garden. At Mori Garden, the Suntory draft beer SUMMER FES beer garden is held. Special snack menus made in collaboration with TV Asahi’s popular programs are a point you won’t want to miss.

TV Asahi Crayon Shin-chan Water Park & Free Stamp Rally

Moving from Mori Garden to the TV Asahi venue, the Crayon Shin-chan water park appears. It’s recommended for those on a Tokyo family trip with kids. It’s a water-play space in collaboration with “Crayon Shin-chan: The Movie,” opening this summer 2026, and you can enjoy cool water play with no admission fee. It’s a water park where you get splashed, so your clothes may get wet. Bring a towel and a change of clothes.

✅ Crayon Shin-chan Stamp Rally: Layer 5 Stamps

Inside the SUMMER FES venue, such as the TV Asahi headquarters atrium, a Crayon Shin-chan stamp rally is also held for free. Stamp the 5 stamps set up at the venue one after another onto the same sheet to complete a single picture. Participants who complete it receive a Crayon Shin-chan movie sticker.

Tokyo Midtown: Foot-Soaking & Parasol Garden

At Tokyo Midtown, within walking distance of Roppongi Hills, the leafy Midtown Garden is decorated with colorful parasols. At its center is ASHIMIZU, where you soak your feet in flowing water and enjoy summer in the middle of the city. You can borrow portable parasols and leisure sheets for free too, so it’s a good place to cool your feet and then rest on the lawn.

ASHIMIZU operates with about 70 seats. At 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., there’s a special production where ice is added to the waterway, and mist is added too, cooling off the midsummer heat. From 6:00 p.m., lights come on at ASHIMIZU and the parasols, changing to a different mood from the daytime. If you want to see both the ice being added and the light-up, visiting around 5:00 p.m. is a good plan.

ASHIMIZU ends on August 16, but the portable parasol rental additionally operates on August 22, 23, 29, and 30.
