About St. Moritz
A long-established shop with over 80 years of tradition, loved by locals for its wide variety of breads at reasonable prices.

The bakery has been run by the whole family together for over 80 years. Go in the morning and the grandfather is making the bread; in the afternoon the grandmother is at the register.

St. Moritz Signature Menu
Here are the signature items.
- Pepper Schinken (ペッパーシンケン): a sandwich with pepper ham, potato salad, and scrambled egg
- Naan Boneless Big Chicken (ナン 骨なしビッグチキン): a sandwich with a big piece of chicken, a bit like a fried-chicken burger
- Siberia (シベリヤ): castella sponge cake with yokan (sweet red-bean jelly) in between
- Apple Kuchen (アップルクーヘン): a German-style apple cake

They say there are more than 60 kinds in total, so to try them all one by one you would have to come often. The prices are cheap, too.

Old-style Japanese bakeries apparently used to sell snacks, drinks, and cup noodles as well, and this place keeps that old style too.

I buy a katsu sando and a bottle of milk and go for a picnic at Mori Garden in Roppongi Hills.
St. Moritz is a neighborhood bakery in Roppongi that is cheap but reliably tasty. I recommend dropping by for a light bite when you are a little hungry.
