✅ The 8 babies in the Fairy Forest Friends series
The Fairy Forest Friends series is a blind pack with 8 types in total, including 1 secret.
You only find out which baby you got once you open the pack. Each baby comes with a forest-themed accessory such as flowers, mushrooms or gems, and the babies can wear them.
- ① Latte Cat baby with a flower crown
- ② Seal baby (crawling) with a frog hat
- ③ Small Latte Cat baby with a snail costume
- ④ Small sea otter baby with a rock costume and rock friend
- ⑤ Walnut Squirrel baby (sitting) with a mushroom umbrella
- ⑥ Small Deer baby with a flower poncho and hat
- ⑦ Chocolate Rabbit baby (sitting) with gem ear decorations
- ⑧ Secret
The rock-costume sea otter is baby ④ in the lineup above. The numbers only tell the items apart, though, and you can't pick a number when you buy. The official lineup doesn't reveal which baby the ⑧ secret is.
The babies can be played with together with the separately sold "Fairy Forest and Magical Castle" (妖精の森と魔法のお城).

✅ How to find the rock-costume sea otter baby in a Japanese store
The product name is the "Baby Fairy Forest Friends Series" and the product number is BB-14. You can just show the store staff the details below.
- Product number: BB-14
- JAN code: 4905040159571
- Japanese product name: 赤ちゃん妖精の森のなかまたちシリーズ
Each blind pack holds 1 of the 8 types at random, so buying BB-14 doesn't guarantee the rock-costume sea otter baby. Even if you buy several packs, you can end up with the same baby twice.
Water-drop sea otter baby Keiri: official name, set contents and price
Keiri (ケイリー) is the small sea otter baby in the Sylvanian Families "Fairy Forest Mysterious Baby Set," shaped like a water drop.
Unlike the rock-costume baby, Keiri is sold in a regular set, not a blind pack. The set always has the same 3 babies and accessories, so you're sure to get Keiri.

The set also includes gem, shooting star, water drop A and B, and spring accessories, plus a gem friend, a shooting star friend and a water drop friend.
Keiri is baby ③, the small sea otter. There's no need to buy over and over like with a blind pack: buy the F-44 set and Keiri is in it.

Even a small accessory, like the rock costume on the little sea otter baby, makes Sylvanian figures that much cuter. From the excitement before you open a pack to the joy of finally meeting the baby you were hoping for, that's where the fun of collecting blind packs seems to lie.
