Tokyo Station Pokemon Store: Hours, Access & Pikachu Cards
Tokyo Mate
If you are a Pokemon fan visiting Tokyo, this is a place you have to go. It is the Pokemon Store inside Tokyo Station. Because it sits inside the station, it is easy to fit into your route and it saves you time.

Tokyo Station Pokemon Store: Store Information
- Hours: 10:00 - 20:30
- Closed: Open year-round
- Location: Character Street, 1F of Tokyo Station
※ 1 minute on foot from the Nihonbashi Exit
Tokyo Station Pokemon Store: How to Get There
Most of the shops on Tokyo Station Character Street are on B1F, and the Pokemon Store is the only one on 1F.

The Pokemon Store is on the opposite side of the station from Marunouchi Plaza, so you have to pass through the station building. From Marunouchi Plaza, go in through the Marunouchi North Entrance. (※ Every other entrance makes you go through a ticket gate, so use the North Entrance.)

Follow the "Passage to Yaesu Side" signs all the way to the end, and as you head towards the Nihonbashi Exit you will find the Pokemon Store.

If you are coming from Character Street on B1F, take the stairs in front of shop number 24, PRISM STONE, and go up.

🛍️ Wait, are you only seeing Pokemon?
One floor down (B1F) there are around 30 character shops gathered together, including Chiikawa, Ghibli, Crayon Shin-chan and Kirby. If you want to know how to get down to B1F after looking around the Pokemon Store, and the trick for getting your tax-free processed together, check the article below. 👇

Tokyo Station Pokemon Store: Inside the Store
A Pikachu dressed as a stationmaster gives you a warm welcome.

These are the stationmaster Pikachus sold only at the Tokyo Station Pokemon Store. They really are so cute.

This is hazelnut milk chocolate in a Pikachu tin case. The tin catches your eye more than the snack itself. There are plenty of other goods as well.

Tokyo Station Pokemon Store: Pokemon Cards
I went looking for the Pokemon cards. For the size of the store, there was a lot of variety.

I was there at my nephew's request, so I took careful photos.

Pika~! On October 18, 2024 the Pikachu ex expansion pack "Super Electric Breaker" was released.

I bought one Pikachu ex card for my nephew.

Tokyo Station Pokemon Center: Online Membership Event

Epilogue
These are the Pokemon cards I bought at the Tokyo Station Pokemon Store. I picked well, right? I hope my nephew likes them.
🍟 How about freshly fried Jagariko after your Pokemon shopping?
If you are peckish once you finish shopping, I recommend Okashi Land one floor down on B1F. Recharge with hot potato fries and soft serve that are on a completely different level from convenience store snacks. 👇
